Low Income Assistance Programs
The Colorado Judicial Branch’s Office of Dispute Resolution has several programs that can reduce the cost of mediation. To obtain information and application forms, please visit the court, contact me, or download the forms here: Download. Please apply early to assure that the court has adequate time to consider your application. Also, be sure to include current income verification such as copies of recent pay stubs or last year’s W-2 tax forms with your application.

If your state-pay application is approved, you may still be responsible for mediation fees of $10.00 per hour.

Terms: All fees to be paid in full at the end of each session, unless other arrangements are made in advance.

Late Cancellation & No-show Fees: A party may be charged fees for up to two hours for a failure to appear for a scheduled mediation or for cancellation of a scheduled mediation with less than 5 business-days notice.

Billable Time: Fees apply to all the time spent by the mediator in activities related to the completion of mediation including: pre-mediation preparation, meetings with parties, research time, telephone calls, preparation of documents, and expenses incurred such as long-distance telephone calls or photocopies.

Travel Charges: Additional fees will be charged for mediations over 65 miles from Salida, CO.
